Warranty Period
LeatherStraps.com.au warrants their products against manufacture defects, breakage due to defective material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from date of purchase.
Australian Consumer Law
Goods purchased from LeatherStraps.com.au come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law regulated by the ACCC.
Covered under Warranty
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Not Covered under Warranty
General ‘wear and tear’ is not covered under this warranty.
Damage by user or from reasons out of our control will void any guarantee.
Water damaged leather or skin is not covered.
Breakage due to excessive over tightening is also not covered – see fitting guide.
Animal leather and skin is a natural product. Leather is not uniform in nature and may have visible fight marks, barb wire marks etc that are expected (depending on model of strap) and are not covered under this warranty.
Leather will also change colour over time and therefore discolouration is not covered.
Stretching, cracking and fraying is also a natural aspect of leather and is not covered.
Damaging strap by fitting incorrect strap lug width to watch is not covered under this warranty. We recommend having a jeweller or watchmaker measure lug and fit the correct size strap for you.

Customers: Please don’t be hesitant returning a strap that has a manufacturing fault.
You are our valued customer and we want to make sure that you are happy with your purchase.
It’s also good for us to check the returned item for any manufacturing problems that we may be able to rectify or even remove strap from our shop if problems with a particular strap model persist.
Please be aware that we are a small business and returned items hurt us a lot, mainly because we still pay all payment processing fees on refunds. Payment processing companies, credit card processors etc do not refund us the fee they charged us when an item is returned /refunded. Therefore, we reserve the right to refuse future purchases to a customer that continually abuses our return policy.
